Hadoota Masreya
About This Spot
Stepping into Hadoota Masreya on Sheikh Zayed Road feels like finding a warm corner of Egypt right in the heart of Dubai. The atmosphere hums with a gentle, familiar rhythm — neither rushed nor still — inviting visitors to slow down and savor moments over comforting, shared plates. Here, the clink of tea glasses mingles effortlessly with bursts of lively conversation, while the subtle aroma of slow-cooked spices winds through the air, setting the tone for a genuine, homey experience.
This is the kind of place where breakfast can stretch into a leisurely occasion, with flaky feteer pastries layered sweet and savory, balanced by the calming ritual of mint tea or a frothy iced latte. Whether seated indoors or in the relaxed outdoor space, the environment encourages connection — both with friends and with a rich culinary heritage that feels lovingly preserved and thoughtfully presented.
The kitchen hums with warmth, delivering dishes that carry the soul of Egyptian comfort food without fanfare — from tender, perfectly spiced grilled meats to velvety soups that invite spoonfuls of nostalgia. The balance between traditional flavors and casual hospitality creates a welcoming backdrop where familiar tastes feel like a quiet celebration. Staff movements are attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the feeling that here, every detail is crafted with care rather than show.
Visitors often return not just for the food but for the steady pulse of friendliness that flavors every meal. It’s a place where smiles feel genuine, and service is as much a part of the experience as what’s on the plate. Whether sharing a simple sandwich or indulging in a rich platter meant for a small gathering, Hadoota Masreya unfolds as a gentle reminder that some of the best stories are discovered over honest, thoughtfully prepared food and the warmth of genuine hospitality.

Our favorite place where everything is always delicious — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We’ve been coming here for years, and the food is always amazing, perfectly seasoned every time. The taste never changes. Maintaining such a high level consistently is true professionalism. We went there again this weekend for our favorite breakfast. They offer a great breakfast set for 2–4 people. Highly recommend if you want a tasty meal!

We were a party of 3 and we sat in the smoking section. The staff at the door greeted us with big smiles, which set a nice tone for the night. We ordered a mix of dishes. The orzo soup for 25 AED was perfect, 10/10. Eggplant with garlic and vinegar, also 28 AED, was a solid 10/10. The baladi salad was also for 28AED it was fresh and flavorful, another 10/10. The mombar for 45 AED was crispy outside, packed with flavor inside, easily a 10/10. We got two fried rice stuffed pigeons for 120 AED, juicy but I’d give them an 8/10 can’t beat the Farahat Cairo pigeons not the Farahat in Dubai, Hadoota is better than one for sure. The mousaka béchamel, small size for 40 AED, was tasty but I didn’t realize it came with a big plate of white rice with vermicelli, the rice ended up packed to go. The rice moamar was comforting, and the half grilled chicken for 48 AED came with vegetables instead of fries, plus tahini and pickles. What really stood out was how fast the food came out. We barely had time to chat before the table started filling up. The service was amazing, attentive without being pushy. We ended with tea with mint. Sitting there, sipping tea after so much good food, felt just right. Because it’s summer, and many families are on vacation, we managed to find seats at 6 pm on a weekend. Usually, this place is so busy you have to book ahead. It was one of those meals where you leave full, happy, and already thinking about what you’ll order next time.

It was an amazing experience as usual. Honestly the food is much better than anywhere in town. The waiter Fouad was very helpful. Also the smiling guy Mahmoud always meet us with smile. The price is very affordable for most of people.

I visited Hadoota Masrya twice during my trip to Dubai, and both experiences were wonderful! The first time was for breakfast — I had the Egyptian feteer with dips, and it was absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Saad, was attentive and friendly, which made the morning even better. I went back the very next day for dinner, and once again the hospitality stood out. Gehad greeted us with an amazing smile and so much kindness when leading us to our table. Our waiter, Ahmed Dyaa, was both funny and kind, making the evening feel special. We ordered Kawary3, 3akawy, and Tarb — everything was cooked perfectly and tasted just like home, reminding me of Egypt. This place is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Egyptian food combined with warm, genuine hospitality. Highly recommend!

Best Egyptian food ever, very tasty and well presented! Even better than the Resturant’s in egypt or anywhere else. Ahmed Diaa and Maoud Fawaz are professional and friendly - always serving with a great smile on their faces which made us feel welcomed all the time! Atmosphere with decorations and Amr Diab songs is just a piece of Art! Love the place and will always come again and again whenever I visit dubai.

Here’s a beautiful and expressive review in English that captures everything you described — the Egyptian food, the flavors, and the authentic atmosphere: “Dining here truly felt like a journey back to Egypt! Every dish was bursting with that authentic Egyptian flavor — from the rich, velvety Molokhia that warmed the heart, to the perfectly seasoned grilled chicken with crispy fries on the side. The Egyptian bread was soft and fresh, ideal for dipping into the flavorful Molokhia or the creamy tahini. The salads were fresh, colorful, and full of zest, balancing the meal beautifully. The restaurant’s ambience completed the experience — with its cozy décor, warm lighting, and the sound of classic Egyptian songs playing in the background, it brought back nostalgic memories of Cairo’s lively evenings. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a comforting taste of Egypt and a celebration of its rich culinary soul.”
